The Human Resources Office Coordinator will provide administrative support to state director and regional directors, act as human resources liaison, and conduct designated trainings.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Office Functions:
    • Maintain files of individuals served including electronic or hard copy formats
    • Assist with coordinating staff meetings
    • Order office supplies
    • Complete purchase orders
    • Assist with or complete various reports
  • Act as the human resources representative for the local market:
    • maintain employee files including electronic or hard copy formats
    • responsible for local recruiting efforts such as job fairs, community centers, posting employment flyers, etc.
    • responsible for retention efforts such as focus groups, new employee follow along, etc.
    • assist with coordinating and conducting new employee orientations, annual trainings and staff meetings
    • collect new employee paperwork for processing and filing
    • maintain and communicate with management and Talent Acquisition Specialist current staffing needs
    • conduct safety drills and safety surveys
  • Notify and follow up with staff and management on eligibility requirements, trainings and documents
  • Comply with all standards to assure the health and safety of all individuals.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff, management, individuals served, guardians and other internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate with managers regarding employee matters 
  • Must be skilled at using all forms of technology and software while possessing the ability to learn new software
  • Highly organized
  • The ability to work independently or part of a team

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
  • Pass background screening process
  • HR Experience preferred

  Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the hiring, training and supervision of Managers and Direct Support Professionals.
  • Coordinate the delivery of all services rendered by Benchmark and other providers.
  • Support development and implementation the Individual Service Plan and assist in development of the Plan of Care for each person served.
  • Assist people served in expanding their opportunities to participate in community life.
  • Ensure accurate and timely implementation of ISPs, client financials, CQA walkthroughs, monthly and daily documentation.
  • Serve as liaison with external case managers, families, other agencies and internal programs.
  • Work collaboratively with director, nurse, HR, accounting, IT, etc.
  • Assist in scheduling staff in accordance with the Plan of Care.
  • Provide on-call direct support and emergency coverage.
  • Able to be on-call and have a flexible schedule
  Qualifications:
  • Previous management experience required.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience working with adults or youth with intellectual or developmental disabilities required.
  • Associates degree or higher preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a member of the professional team for the Intensive Treatment Service homes.
  • Work with adults with high behaviors in an Intensive Treatment Services setting, using best practices and implementing changes as client needs change.
  • Complete annual functional assessments to develop and implement BSP, modify as needed.
  • Provide direct monitoring, assessment, intervention, and applied staff training on implementation of individual behavioral support plans.
  • Ensure that all behavioral services are documented and meet all criteria for billing.
  • Maintain system for collecting objective data regarding the skills and needs of clients served.
  • Maintain system for collecting program specific information and quality outcome data.
  • Attend individual psychiatric appointments and inpatient psychiatric discharge meetings.
  • Serve as a voice and advocate for individuals served.
  • Collaborate with other therapists to develop ideas for special projects and work as a team to develop and implement those ideas.
  • Attend all agency, departmental and client specific meetings as directed.
  • Participate in on-going professional training.
  • Must report any suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation to supervisor or department head.
  • Comply with all standards to assure the health and safety of all individuals.
Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in behavior analysis, psychology, education, social work or related field.
  • Current BCBA License/Certification
  • At least two years’ experience with behavior supports evaluation and services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Valid Driver’s License and auto insurance.
  • Valid CPR and First Aid Certification.
  • Technology proficiency.
  • Must be experienced and competent in profession and maintain any applicable license, training and/or certifications.
