Description: Benchmark Human Services Corporate office is looking to hire a Talent Acquisition Specialist to contribute to the company’s mission to serve others by recruiting and hiring qualified staff. This full-time position will hire for professional positions company wide. Positions include, but not limited to: BCBA's, Licensed Social Workers, RN's, LPN's PT's, OT's, SLP's, RBT's, etc. Benchmark has grown to become one of the most respected organizations in the country in the areas of intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and behavioral health. This position is a remote position. Some travel required for training, job fairs, and conferences when applicable. General Responsibilities:
  • Post recruitment ads utilizing various recruitment resources/tools to attract applicants
  • Conduct resume searches
  • Maintain an updated staffing needs list for each service line
  • Conduct phone interviews with candidates
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers
  • Meet hiring goals utilizing reports and maintaining communication with locations and managers

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field or 1 year of relevant experience preferred
  • Experience with professional licensed roles (LCSW, BCBA, RN, LPN)
  • Experience recruiting in the healthcare industry preferred
  • Valid driver’s license

Description:
Benchmark Human Services (Benchmark) is a national provider of human services including programs for the developmental disability and behavioral health fields along with related consulting services.  Due to continued growth and a recent internal promotion, Benchmark is seeking candidates for a vice president to lead residential waiver and day services in Ohio, New Jersey, Maryland, and Delaware.  The vice president will be responsible for the overall fiscal and programmatic direction and supervision of designated residential waiver and day services,  serve as the senior manager representing Benchmark state agencies and lobbyists, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and consistency of services. In addition, the vice president will supervise a team of directors, collect, analyze, and report quality data and outcome measurements.  The selected candidate will have a track record of managing quality, data driven decision making and expanding services. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Monitor overall fiscal performance of designated programs by utilizing financial reports trend analysis reports and regular communication with direct reports and accounting department to maximize profitability and cost-containment.
  • Develop consistent program standards across supported living and day services sites.
  • Develop and monitor budgets for various programs within assigned areas.
  • Develop profitable business within established guidelines.
  • Travel throughout assigned regions and meet with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of departmental programs and make revisions when necessary.
  • Be involved with continued development and monitoring of all agency training.
  • Solicit regular customer feedback and respond when necessary.
  • Monitor incentive plans for designated areas.
  • Keep up-to-date with and assure compliance with all federal, state and agency standards.
  • Hire, train and monitor staff in accordance with agency policy.
  • Assist in identifying and growing new areas of business that pertain to mission.
  • Participate in internal programmatic audits to insure the quality, accuracy and existence of all necessary documentation required to successfully pass all surveys and audits.
  • Have pro-active interaction with state regulators and agency staff for facilitating positive implementation of changes made to existing systems, programs and/or services.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills by taking a proactive approach to communication, problem solving and taking the lead/initiative on projects.
  • Promote on-going positive relationships with all current and potential referral sources and all other agency providers.
  • Be an active participate in various internal committees and work groups.

  • Knowledge of waiver and day services regulations, standards and organization policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of health care privacy and confidentiality rules.
  • Knowledge of person-centered care and support for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
  • Must possess & demonstrate critical thinking skills.
  • Skillful in use of computers & general office equipment.
  • Skillful in working with people from diverse educational and cultural backgrounds.
  • Skillful in interpersonal communication needed to advocate for clients, communicate with family members, healthcare professionals, support coordinators and others.
  • Skilled in managing, supporting, and directing staff to attain stated goals.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to manage program budget.
  • Ability to manage multiple direct reports with varying educational and experience levels.
  • Ability to make decisions based on data and organizational goals.
  • Ability to be forward thinking and entrepreneurial.
 QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
  • Five (5) years of management experience
  • Ten (10) years of experience in the field of human services
  • Valid driver’s license
