If you’re looking for a rewarding job working with children with Autism, Benchmark Human Services is seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) in Great Falls and Havre, MT. RBT will provide services in the home or community. We provide thorough training, great challenges, and even greater fulfillment as you help individuals reach maximum potential.   • Participate as part of an interdisciplinary team in the development and implementation of each individual’s care plans
  • Implement behavior support plans written by the BCBA or BCaBa
  • Collect and record data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of behavior support plans
  • Collaborate with BCBA to ensure all materials/supplies are available for implementation of plans
  • Provide positive behavioral support according to the behavior support plans and respond to emergency situations as trained
  • Monitor the well-being of the individuals served by implementing standardized behavior protocols and health care protocols
  • Provide training to family members and caregivers on the behavior support plan
  • Communicate with clients, parents, and caregivers regarding client progress
  • Participate in weekly scheduled meetings to discuss and review behavioral, graphed data
  • Complete documentation as required by Benchmark Human Services as well as state and federal regulations
  • Assist with personal care as required, ensure health safety and respect for each individual served

Description:
Benchmark is a national leader in providing programs to individuals with disabilities and behavior health challenges.  We are looking for people who want to make the difference in the lives of another person, by supporting them in  small residential homes.  Our DSP's  can work part or full time shifts (4p-12am and 12am -8am). Successful applicants will attend paid training to obtain required certifications. No experience is necessary, learn on-the-job. Schedule 8 hour shifts (part-time or full-time):
  • 4pm to Midnight
  • Midnight to 8am
Responsibilities Include:
  • Assist people served with emotional and physical needs
  • Ensure a safe and clean home for people served
  • Develop a positive rapport while serving as a role model to create a safe and caring environment
  • Teach skills to individuals served that increase independence such as eating, cooking and bathing
  • Document data displaying the individual served goals and progression
  • Assist in finding and participating in meaningful community activities
  • Work independent or with co-workers to enhance the growth of individuals served
  • Participate in on-going professional training
