We are seeking a full time Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide behavior supports in our adult residential programs. This position offers hands on engagement with individuals and staff outside of a typical clinical setting. Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a member of the professional team for the Intensive Treatment Service homes.
  • Work with adults with high behaviors in an Intensive Treatment Services setting, using best practices and implementing changes as client needs change.
  • Complete annual functional assessments to develop and implement BSP, modify as needed.
  • Provide direct monitoring, assessment, intervention, and applied staff training on implementation of individual behavioral support plans.
  • Ensure that all behavioral services are documented and meet all criteria for billing.
  • Maintain system for collecting objective data regarding the skills and needs of clients served.
  • Maintain system for collecting program specific information and quality outcome data.
  • Attend individual psychiatric appointments and inpatient psychiatric discharge meetings.
  • Serve as a voice and advocate for individuals served.
  • Collaborate with other therapists to develop ideas for special projects and work as a team to develop and implement those ideas.
  • Attend all agency, departmental and client specific meetings as directed.
  • Participate in on-going professional training.
  • Must report any suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation to supervisor or department head.
  • Comply with all standards to assure the health and safety of all individuals.
Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in behavior analysis, psychology, education, social work or related field.
  • Current BCBA License/Certification
  • At least two years’ experience with behavior supports evaluation and services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Valid Driver’s License and auto insurance.
  • Valid CPR and First Aid Certification.
  • Technology proficiency.
  • Must be experienced and competent in profession and maintain any applicable license, training and/or certifications.

We are currently seeking Behavioral Residential Managers to join our team, support our staff, and ensure high quality services for individuals. Responsibilities:
  • Provide training and supervision to staff in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as Benchmark Group Home policies and procedures.
  • Directly responsible to develop and manage staffing schedules as per required individual support ratios.
  • Attend all agency and departmental meetings, client appointments as directed, and chair client specific and staff meetings.
  • Participate as part of an interdisciplinary team in the development and implementation of each client's individual plan.
  • Monitor overall health care needs including plans, medications, treatment protocols, and the general well-being of clients served.
  • Oversee financial management for house budget and for each client as specified in the ISP.
  • Complete daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly documentation as required by Benchmark Human Services, as well as state and federal regulations.
  • Maintains in-home client files according to standards and protocol established. This includes ensuring that monthly safety fire drills are conducted and documented.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation, training programs, and environmental standards for certification and licensure compliance.
  • Ensure a safe environment to individuals served. Communicate and coordinate repairs and required maintenance of the group home.
  • Communicates professionally with families, Case Manager, Behavioral Consultant, health care personnel, schools, landlords, employers, etc.
  • Provide on call services and respond to client and house needs.
  • Participates in direct service for individuals served.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications of Residential Supervisor:
  • Associates degree in a related field is preferred. High School diploma/GED is required.
  • A minimum of two years’ experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
  • A minimum of one year of supervisory experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the development and positive implementation of individual’s plans.
  • Implement Behavior Support Plans, Replacement Behavior Trials and reinforcement plans consistently, continuously and as written across all environments.
  • Provide positive behavioral supports according to individual BSPs and provide positive reinforcement when individuals engage in socially appropriate behavior.
  • Respond to emergency situations as trained utilizing all aspects of the Mandt Training.
  • Implement Relational Mandt continuously to ensure a positive, engaged and therapeutic environment.
  • Implement Technical Mandt when safety is compromised (ex: physical aggression, dangerous self-injurious behavior and dangerous property destruction) per training and only as needed.
  • Report any restraints or significant behavior to the on-call as soon as the situation de-escalates or if assistance is needed.
  • Assess for injuries post behavior or restraint and notify on-call immediately.
  • Make recommendations for changes to plans based on best practices, hands on experience and individual’s needs.
  • Prepare and enter daily behavior data as required by the BC. Document the behavior and the environment in observable and measurable terms.
  • Administer medications and follow physicians' orders concerning medications and treatments.
  • Monitor the general well-being of the individual served and follow supervisor/nurse instructions, including all healthcare appointments.
  • Comply with all standards to assure the health and safety of all individuals.
  • Communicate to nurse and supervisor health issues and concerns as they arise regarding individuals served.
  • Provide communication to supervisors regarding individuals served, about their home, day program or work related needs, as applicable to each individual.
Qualifications: 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Access to a vehicle in good operating order + proof of auto insurance
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
