David Ross
Chief Operating Officer
David Ross joined Benchmark in 1992 as part of a transition grant to consult with local schools about post-high school planning for special education students. After the grant ended, he was hired to oversee employment programs at Benchmark. David served as Vice President, overseeing corporate-wide Community Employment Services, Supported Living and Day Services in Maryland, New Jersey, and Ohio until 2022. In 2022 he was named Chief Operating Officer overseeing day-to-day operations and helping to execute Benchmark’s long-term goals and growth strategy.
David helps develop and lead corporate management training and helps guide corporate-wide Outcome Measures Systems.
David holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Huntington University, and a master’s in science of management from Indiana Wesleyan University.
