Dr. AJ Beyrer
Chief Clinical Officer
Dr. AJ Beyrer serves as Benchmark’s Chief Clinical Officer, overseeing the organization’s clinical vision, ensuring excellence in care, and guiding initiatives that drive continuous improvement across all programs.
Dr. Beyrer joined Benchmark in 2013, first as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker supporting individuals in the Georgia Mobile Crisis program and in the Crisis Homes. He has also served as a behavior analyst, regional director, and state clinical director, focusing on clinical systems development, crisis stabilization, trauma-informed care, and supporting individuals with complex behavioral and medical needs.
Dr. Beyrer holds a PhD in Advanced Human Behavior, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst at the doctoral level (BCBA-D).
