Benchmark Human Services Continues Growth Trajectory with Expansion of Business Development Team
As Benchmark Human Services (Benchmark) continues to expand its footprint across the country, its Development team is evolving. Since 2010, Jeff Cross has led development efforts for the organization, helping to grow its business from operations in five to 18 states. Cross recently announced he would be moving to a part-time senior business development advisor role, providing guidance to Benchmark’s national marketing team and assisting senior management in strategic business development. He will continue to represent the Company at national industry conferences. Sarah Chestnut, who joined Benchmark’s Development team in 2021, has been promoted to national director of development strategies. Dr. John Lovett has joined the team as national director, clinical development after serving as Benchmark’s Alabama state director for three years.
Looking to the future, Benchmark’s Development team is focusing its priorities on growing:
-Building provider and community capacity to serve individuals with complex needs –avoiding unnecessary emergency department visits and hospitalizations, improving clinical outcomes, and decreasing total cost of care
-Behavioral health and crisis services
-Family and children’s services, including foster care diversion
