Nikhol B. Jackson Joins Benchmark as Director of new Community Action Treatment (CAT) Program in Georgia

Nikhol B. Jackson (LPC, MFT, BC-TMH, CPCS) joins Benchmark Human Services (Benchmark) as the director of the new Community Action Treatment (CAT) teams pilot program in Georgia.

The CAT program supports youth up to the age of 21 at risk for out-of-home placement. Benchmark will provide community-based therapy to young people and their families to explore the risks for out-of-home placement, seek to repair the parent-child connection where necessary, address behaviors, and more. Throughout the process, CAT team members will work closely with the youth and family to provide comprehensive support and resources to help build long-term stability and resilience, promote family unity, and achieve overall wellness.

Ms. Jackson has extensive experience working with children and families in a behavioral health capacity. From 2008 to 2018, she owned and operated a comprehensive behavioral health agency called Just A Journey Counseling & Psychological Services, LLC, in Metro Atlanta. In 2017, Ms. Jackson became a Master Addictions Counselor (MAC) and later earned her credentials as a Distance Credentialed Counselor (DCC) and a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS) in 2018.

Currently, Ms. Jackson owns Total Transformation Institute (TTI), LLC. TTI is an institution of learning designed to promote its clients’ personal and professional growth through group services such as workshops, seminars and trainings, individual consultation, consulting, and coaching. Ms. Jackson has a history of offering counselor education, clinical supervision, consultation, and career planning to new clinicians seeking licensure in Georgia.
