Meg Nusbaum joined Benchmark as Director of Group Homes in Indianapolis, Richmond, and Southern Indiana in October 2016. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Virginia Tech.
Meg worked for 12 years in various management roles within adult day services/day health, primarily with the aging population, which included persons with medical frailty, ID/D, dementia, and mental health issues. She spent nine years working with the ID/D population both as a QIDP and a regional manager/liaison to area mental health management entity. During this time, she also worked doing direct care habilitation, personal care, and respite. Prior to joining Benchmark, Meg worked for three years in community mental health doing social work, skill development, symptom management, case management, and care coordination.
Meg is newly married to her high school summer camp sweetheart. She has two kids, two bonus kids, three cats, and a goldfish. She enjoys bicycling, driving, music, travel, and exercise.
