Beginning Monday, April 6, Benchmark Human Services (formerly AWS) will begin administering the contract for Indiana Epilepsy Services in Allen County. The state-wide program is part of the Indiana University School of Medicine’s Comprehensive Epilepsy Center.
Indiana Epilepsy Services offers monthly educational trainings to area providers and organizations, as well as a hotline (866-417-9205), which allows people to call and request more information about epilepsy and related services and resources.
Claire Clevenger will serve as the Epilepsy Outreach Coordinator and will manage the hotline, conduct trainings, and facilitate a support group. Clevenger has been a service coordinator with Benchmark for 5 years.
If you would like more information about this program, or if you want to set up a training for your group or organization, please call the hotline number.
Founded in 1960, the mission of Benchmark Human Services is to help children and adults with disabilities live as independently as possible, be included in the community, and function at their maximum potential. For more information about Benchmark’s services visit www.BenchmarkHS.com.
