A.W. Holdings, LLC, dba Benchmark Human Services (Benchmark), and Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) have formed a partnership to enhance services and outcomes for individuals experiencing mental health crises. The collaboration centers on offering a comprehensive approach to crisis intervention, stabilization, and prevention across populations and innovative behavioral health, substance use, and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) service models.
The partnership marries the strengths of each organization: Benchmark’s significant history of serving individuals with IDD and those who have dual diagnoses, providing customized care for individuals with complex behavioral and medical needs to live in the community; and CBI’s expertise in behavioral health with a focus on peer support and addiction recovery, particularly in rural communities.
Benchmark and CBI have developed several joint projects customized to target the unique needs of specific states, the first of which was approved and began in Oklahoma earlier this year. Within this contract, the two organizations have teamed up to provide mobile crisis services in rural and urban communities to enhance access to crisis care throughout the state.
“Benchmark is excited to partner with an organization that has always been person-centered and approaches everyone they serve with respect and compassion. CBI has built a series of unique solutions to support communities and meet the needs of people where they are,” said Doug Beebe, Benchmark CEO.
“CBI is fortunate and humbled to have found in Benchmark a partner who shares our commitment to delivering quality services at the community level,” said John Hogeboom, the President and CEO of Community Bridges. “Over the past 60 years, Benchmark has improved countless lives and had a powerful impact on the people and communities they serve. Together, we look forward to taking this public service to an even higher level.”
