Benchmark Human Services (Benchmark) has been awarded a contract through the State of Colorado and Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) to provide Early Intervention (Part C) evaluations in the North Denver metro area including the counties of Larimer, Boulder, Broomfield, and Weld.
Colorado’s Early Intervention (EI) Programs provides eligible infants and toddlers, and their families, with services and supports to enhance child development in the areas of cognition, speech, communication, physical development, motor development, vision, hearing, social or emotional development, and self-help skills. The evaluations determine eligibility for the program. Part C early intervention builds upon and provides supports and resources to assist family members and caregivers to enhance children’s learning and development through everyday learning opportunities.
Founded in 1960, the mission of Benchmark is to help people live as independently as possible, be included in the community, and reach their full potential. Benchmark provides a variety of services, including for those birth to three who are born with a disability or delay, or need assistance meeting developmental milestones. Benchmark has been providing EI Services including system administration, therapies and evaluations throughout the country since 1996 and currently holds contracts in Colorado, Connecticut, Missouri, Montana, and Virginia.
