The UCD Centre for Disability Studies in Ireland is currently conducting an international study on the impact of COVID-19 on individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and those who support them. The survey includes a collaboration among 26 researchers working in 19 countries, has full ethical approval, and is entirely anonymous. Participants 18 years or older and are either (1) a family member of a person of any age who has an intellectual and developmental disability, or (2) a paid staff member supporting a person or persons of any age who has intellectual and developmental disabilities may complete this survey, estimated to take about 25 minutes to complete.
Inclusion International, an international group of self-advocates will be reviewing findings and co-developing recommendations.
Respondents will initially be directed to the “Click here to take the survey in English if you live in the USA” link and will be given relevant support services in the U.S., but respondents are free to select Spanish or other languages on the first page of the survey.
