Benchmark Human Services (Benchmark) will be bringing over 50 years of experience as a leading provider of services to individuals with disabilities and their families to a new region in Montana. Benchmark was awarded a contract with the State of Montana to serve as the administrator for the Montana Milestones/Part C and Family Education and Support programs for the Great Falls area and will begin providing services January 1, 2018.
Benchmark has been working with the previous provider on a transition plan, and has hired eight employees from the former provider, with four offers still pending. The company will have an office in Great Falls.
For over 20 years, Benchmark has been a provider of early intervention services to children from birth to age three who have been diagnosed with a disability or delay, and operates these programs in Indiana, Missouri, Connecticut, and Virginia. These services aim to provide children and their families with the best start in life. Services support families of children with disabilities through the provision of services that build the capacity of the families to maximize the potential for their children to live as independently as possible. Benchmark is committed to learning the nuances of Montana’s Part C of IDEA Program and administering a quality program following both federal and Montana mandates.
Benchmark has been serving the state of Montana since 2015, first through a consulting project at Montana Developmental Center, and since 2016 as a provider of residential services for adults with disabilities.
