AWS Foundation Grants Money to Camp Red Cedar for Camper Scholarships

For Immediate Release: AWS Foundation grants money to Camp Red Cedar for camper scholarships Camp Red Cedar was recently awarded $25,000 from the AWS Foundation for camper scholarships and riding equipment. Camp Red Cedar, a 57-acre summer camp and horseback riding facility just north of Fort Wayne, is a fully accessible facility where campers of all abilities participate in swimming, boating, arts and crafts, sports and field games, horseback riding, karate and a variety of activities. Five thousand dollars will go toward purchasing new equipment for Camp Red Cedar’s therapeutic horseback riding programs, with $20,000 for camper scholarships to enable children and adults with disabilities who do not have public or other funding sources to attend a 2014 summer camp session.
