Responsibilities:
- Participate as part of an interdisciplinary team in the development and implementation of each individual’s care plans
- Implement behavior support plans written by the BCBA or BCaBa
- Collect and record data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of behavior support plans
- Collaborate with BCBA to ensure all materials/supplies are available for implementation of plans
- Provide positive behavioral support according to the behavior support plans and respond to emergency situations as trained
- Monitor the well-being of the individuals served by implementing standardized behavior protocols and health care protocols
- Provide training to family members and caregivers on the behavior support plan
- Communicate with clients, parents, and caregivers regarding client progress
- Participate in weekly scheduled meetings to discuss and review behavioral, graphed data
- Complete documentation as required by Benchmark Human Services as well as state and federal regulations
- Assist with personal care as required, ensure health safety and respect for each individual served
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance
- High School Diploma or Equivalency
- RBT Certification Required
- Background checks required
