Benchmark is a national leader in providing programs to individuals with disabilities and mental illness. Benchmark is seeking a Full-time Family Support Specialist for Browning, Havre, Great Falls, and Shelby areas. A qualified candidate will assist and enable infants, toddlers and their families to have access to services provided under Montana’s Early Intervention Program, Montana Milestones, and Family Education Services.

Schedule: Remote Position Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm with occasional evenings to meet client’s scheduling needs

Pay Rate: $32k-42k based on experience

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist in the eligibility determination which includes referrals and intakes
  • Collect information on the child’s development
  • Assist the parents of eligible children in the planning, meeting, development, implementation, and review of IFSP
  • Assist families in identifying available services and providers
  • Monitor the delivery of services in accordance with the IFSP
  • Perform child find and provider recruitment activities
  • Communicate and coordinate services with medical and health providers
  • Facilitate the development of a transition plan from the EI system to Part B special education, preschool, or other community services

General Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in one of the following: Early Childhood Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child/Human Development, Social Work, Public Health, Sociology, Nursing, Psychology or other State approved degree
  • Meet provider enrollment qualifications for a Family Support Specialist
