Benchmark is a national leader in providing programs to individuals with disabilities and mental illness. The St. Louis office is seeking qualified and devoted leaders to serve as a Direct Support Professional in our supported living homes. Successful applicants will attend paid training to obtain required certifications. No experience necessary, learn on-the-job.

Schedule 8 hour shifts (part-time or full-time):
- Must have availability to work 3pm-11pm
- Must be available to work weekends

Responsibilities Include:
- Protect and honor the rights of people with disabilities
- Ensuring a supportive and clean home for people served
- Develop a Positive rapport while serving as a role model to create a safe and encouraging environment
- Teach life skills to individuals served that increase independence
- Document data displaying success of client goals and progression
- Direct and encourage the participation in beneficial community activities
- Work independent or with co-workers to enhance the growth of individuals served
- Participate in on-going professional training
General Qualifications:
- Reliable transportation required
- Valid auto insurance and driver’s license required
- High school diploma or GED
