Description:

Benchmark is a national leader in providing programs to individuals with disabilities and behavior health. The Day Program in Cincinnati, OH office is seeking a Van Driver for our Day Program.

Hours Part-time Monday – Friday, 7 am – 9:30 am and 2:30 pm – 5:30 pm. (Split shift)

Responsibilities: 

• Transport clients to and from the day program.
• Communicate and document any client behavioral or health related issues and submit incident reports to Program Manager.
• Maintain daily checklist and mileage log.
• Complies with all department and agency policies and procedures.
• Perform daily and monthly vehicle inspections for safety and preventative maintenance.
• Assist with the care of individuals served in the Day Program and during community outings.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

• Knowledge of Ohio driving laws.
• Ability to safely navigate a van through traffic.

Qualifications: 

• Reliable and dependable work habits.
• Experience driving vans preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
