Benchmark is a national leader in providing programs to individuals with disabilities and mental illness. The Supported Living program is hiring immediately! We are seeking a compassionate and caring person to work as a Supported Living manager in Hobart, Indiana.
Successful applicants will attend paid orientation and trainings.
General Responsibilities Include:
. Coordinate and manage the operation of Supported Living Homes
. Supervise staff and provide a meaningful day for the clients
. Ensure implementation of community based, age appropriate, recreational activities for the clients
. Complete daily, weekly, monthly and yearly documentation
. Facilitates all repairs and required maintenance of the client’s home
. Responsible for client’s finances
. Assists client’s in maintaining Medicaid eligibility
. Communicates professionally with stakeholders
General qualifications include:
The ability to be on call, have auto insurance and a driver’s license, have a high school diploma or GED, experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, a minimum of 1 year supervisory experience. An Associates degree in a related field is preferred, two years experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities is preferred. Must pass a drug and background screening.
