Description:

Responsible for establishing, reconciling and maintaining consumer financial accounts. Responsible for paying consumers bills, completing cash disbursements, tracking and monitoring all account activity and compiling documentation necessary for audit purposes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Act as a liaison with the bank to establish accounts, close accounts and initiate any signer changes as needed.
  2. Monitor client accounts to ensure balances remain at required levels as determined by Medicaid and Social Security so they continue to remain eligible for benefits.
  3. Pay all consumer bills on time, avoiding late fees, and using online bill pay as available.
  4. Collect receipt and food stamp ledgers for inclusion in monthly finance packets from supervisors.
  5. Maintain a sufficient supply of checks and re-order as needed.
  6. Maintain a daily accounting of consumer accounts in the Provide system.
  7. Report to work as scheduled.
  8. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Excellent communication skills
  2. Excellent computer skills
  3. Must have a current Drivers License
  4. Have current car insurance
  5. Be able to pass a criminal background check as well as a drug test.
