Provide overall behavioral supports to children and adolescents as well as staff working in the Georgia Mobile Crisis Support Program. Services are provided in a 4 bedroom short term crisis home. Children and adolescents being served will have a diagnosis of I/DD with many having co-occurring psychiatric symptoms. Candidates will be expected to work closely with a interdisciplinary team (LCSW, Psychiatrist, etc.) Provide direct monitoring, assessment, intervention, and staff training including behavioral supports, proactive strategies, triggers, staff interventions, replacement behaviors, etc. Must be willing to flex schedule accordingly to provide services, supports, care and treatment to individuals as required, respond immediately when dispatched on crisis responses and be present to provide supervision to staff. Must be experienced and competent in profession and maintain any applicable license, training, or and certifications.
BCBA required. Masters degree in psychology, behavioral analysis, education, social work or related field. Minimum of 35 hours training and education in behavioral analysis and behavioral supports or Behavioral Analyst Board Certification. At least two years experience with behavioral supports evaluation and services for people with developmental disabilities. Valid driver’s license and auto insurance. Certification and ongoing training in crisis intervention curriculum.
